In the SSI Basic Diver program, you will learn the skills and knowledge you need to try diving up to 12 meters deep with an SSI Professional. It is a great way to explore the underwater world more fully as you try diving.
About the Course :
The SSI Basic Diver is a 3-4 hour program tailored for beginners and non-swimmers, this program provides an introduction to SCUBA diving. You’ll receive training in shallow waters, learning essential skills and familiarizing yourself with SCUBA equipment. Once comfortable, you’ll embark on a dive at Tribe Gate, renowned for its vibrant marine life, including Clown Fish, Fusiliers, Rabbit Fish, and more. Additionally, you’ll receive theoretical instruction and the opportunity to dive alongside certified professionals. Alternatively, we offer dives at Turtle Beach, known for its crystal-clear waters and abundant coral life. These dives reach a maximum depth of 12 meters and last approximately 40-60 minutes.
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a digital certificate and gain access to an online account with SSI.The entire Basic Diver program can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Dive programs within 6 months, so you can take the next step in your dive adventure.

SSI Open Water Diver

About the Course :
Knowledge Development Session: This segment can be conveniently completed online at your own pace from home, as we register you with SSI. However, we highly recommend completing it alongside the practical in-water sessions. Here, you’ll grasp essential concepts ranging from dive equipment to safety procedures.
Confined Water Session: Dive into the world of scuba skills in a controlled environment. Through this hands-on experience, you’ll master various techniques to enhance comfort and confidence underwater. Additionally, you’ll be equipped to handle emergency situations adeptly.
Open Water Dives: The course mandates a minimum of four dives. However, we offer an additional fifth dive to bolster your confidence and self-reliance as a diver. These dives, conducted in real-world conditions, allow you to apply learned skills under the supervision of our experienced instructors.
Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification, enabling you to explore underwater wonders independently, accompanied by a buddy, to a depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
Pre-requisites:
- Age: 12 or older up to 60 years (12-14 year olds earn junior open water certification).
- Swimming Requirement: Ability to swim 200 meters or snorkel 300 meters and float for 10 minutes.

SSI Advanced Adventurer

With this program, you can try a variety of specialties before committing to full specialty programs. It is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures.
During the Advanced Adventurer Program, you will try out 5 different specialties. You will complete one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor.

The SSI Advanced Adventurer course is designed for certified Open Water Divers who want to expand their diving skills and experience.
Course Overview: The Advanced Adventurer is a 2 to 3 day course that offers divers the opportunity to try out different specialty dives under the guidance of an instructor. It’s an excellent way to gain more confidence, experience, and knowledge in various diving environments.
Specialty Dives: Participants typically complete five adventure dives, each focusing on a different aspect of diving. Popular adventure dives include deep diving, navigation, night diving, photo & video, and perfect buoyancy. These dives allow divers to explore new techniques and environments while honing their skills.
Flexibility: With this trial program in specialty diving, you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full specialty programs any time in the future and credit your Advanced Adventurer training towards them.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification. This certification acknowledges the diver’s proficiency in various specialty areas and allows them to dive to a depth of 30 meters (100 feet) with a higher level of skill and confidence. It’s a stepping stone towards becoming a well-rounded and capable diver.
