Our Introduction Dive is your invitation to experience the magic of scuba diving, where time slows down, colours come alive, and the ocean reveals its hidden wonders. No experience is needed, just a little curiosity and a sense of adventure. With our experienced instructors by your side, take your first breath underwater and discover a feeling that words can never quite describe.

Your first breath underwater is something truly special. At Ocean Tribe Scuba, we believe your introduction to the underwater world should be about more than just diving. It’s about discovering a new environment at your own pace, building confidence, and enjoying every moment beneath the surface.
Your experience begins with personalised training. Before heading out to sea, we introduce you to the scuba equipment, explain how it works, and help you become familiar with breathing underwater. You’ll learn essential skills to help you feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident in this unfamiliar environment. Our instructors guide you through each step, ensuring you feel supported throughout your training.
We never believe in rushing your first dive. Everyone adapts to the underwater environment differently, and we respect that. There is no fixed time limit on your training. We take the time to help you become comfortable with the equipment, practise essential skills, and build confidence before moving forward. We believe that being well-prepared allows you to truly enjoy the dive rather than worry about what comes next.
Once you’re comfortable and ready, we’ll take you by boat to one of our beautiful dive sites around Havelock Island.
Tribe Gate offers a wonderful introduction to underwater life, with colourful coral formations and schools of tropical reef fish. Jhuvi’s Reef provides another fascinating underwater experience, with vibrant coral gardens and diverse marine life to discover.
Throughout your experience, our instructors remain by your side, guiding and supporting you every step of the way.
At Ocean Tribe Scuba, we want your first dive to be a memory you’ll carry long after you’ve surfaced.
Pre-requisites
- Age: 10 or older
- Swimming Requirement: No Swimming skills required
- Medical Fitness: Completion of a Medical Evaluation Form to ensure physical readiness for diving

Discover the underwater wonders of Havelock Island with our guided snorkelling experience at Tribe Gate or Jhuvi’s Reef. Designed to be simple, relaxed, and enjoyable, this experience offers a beautiful glimpse into the marine world without the need for scuba equipment or extensive preparation.
Your session begins with a brief introduction to the snorkelling equipment and guidance on how to use it comfortably. Accompanied by an experienced snorkelling guide, you’ll explore the clear waters, observe colourful reef fish, and discover the fascinating coral formations beneath the surface.
You don’t need to be an experienced swimmer to enjoy this experience. Even non-swimmers and first-time snorkellers can participate, with guidance and appropriate in-water support from our team. The experience is open to anyone who is generally fit and comfortable participating in the activity, with no fixed age limit.

Boat Trip (Near Havelock)

Whether you’re chasing quiet moments on the water or the thrill of exploring new shores, every journey is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and let the sea lead the way. Sometimes, the best way to discover an island is to see it from the water.
About the experience:
Your journey begins at Beach No. 3, home of Ocean Tribe Scuba, where our team welcomes you aboard for a day of island exploration. We’ll start with a brief introduction to snorkelling equipment and, if needed, some basic training in shallow water to help you feel comfortable before heading out to sea.
Once you’re ready, we’ll cruise towards John Lawrence Island, where you’ll enjoy your first guided snorkelling session around Jhuvi’s Reef, discovering colourful corals and the fascinating marine life beneath the surface.
The adventure continues as we navigate through beautiful mangrove channels, surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful sights and sounds of the island’s natural landscape. Our scenic boat ride takes us towards Nicholson Island or Wilson Island, where you can enjoy another snorkelling session, if desired, and admire the stunning coastal scenery from the water. Take your time to unwind on board, soak up the tropical surroundings, or try your hand at line fishing during the journey.
Throughout the trip, our team provides refreshments on board, with snorkelling guides available to accompany you in the water. A packed lunch will be served on board, giving you time to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the Andaman Sea.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll begin our return journey through the entrance of Havelock Island. Cruise across golden waters as the sun sinks towards the horizon, transforming the final stretch into a beautiful sunset cruise. It’s the perfect ending to a day filled with ocean adventures, island scenery, and unforgettable memories, before returning to Ocean Tribe Scuba.

Boat Trip (South Button)
South Button Island – Where the Ocean Dreams

Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral gardens, and extraordinary marine life, this protected island is a paradise for ocean lovers. Let the gentle rhythm of the waves guide you towards a world where nature reigns, the horizon stretches endlessly, and every moment feels like a discovery.
About the experience:
Your adventure begins at Beach No. 3, home of Ocean Tribe Scuba, where we’ll introduce you to the snorkelling equipment and provide some basic training in shallow water, if needed, so you feel comfortable and confident before heading out to sea.
We’ll then cruise through the beautiful mangrove channels before venturing into the open waters of the Andaman Sea. The journey to South Button takes a little over two hours, offering plenty of time to enjoy the ocean breeze, admire the surrounding islands, and watch the changing shades of blue along the way.
South Button Island is a tiny, protected island known for its extraordinary natural beauty. Its true magic lies beneath the surface, where crystal-clear turquoise waters surround vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Colourful reef fish weave through coral gardens, and you may even encounter turtles and other fascinating marine creatures.
Once there, we’ll enjoy a guided snorkelling session in the beautiful surrounding waters, giving you the opportunity to explore this remarkable marine environment at your own pace. Between adventures, relax on board, soak in the scenery, or try your hand at hand-line fishing.
We’ll also serve a packed lunch on board, either during the journey through the mangrove channels or while enjoying the surroundings of South Button, depending on conditions and the day’s itinerary. Refreshments, snorkelling equipment, towels, and guidance from our team will be available throughout the trip.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll begin our return journey across the Andaman Sea. The ride back becomes a beautiful sunset cruise, with golden light spilling across the water and the horizon slowly changing colours as the sun descends. Sit back, feel the ocean breeze, and savour the peaceful journey home after a day filled with island exploration, marine encounters, and unforgettable scenery.

Your journey begins at Beach No. 3, home of Ocean Tribe Scuba, where you’ll step aboard for a peaceful afternoon on the waters of Havelock Island. As we set sail towards the channel near Nicholson Island, at the entrance to Havelock, the island’s beautiful coastline and lush green surroundings unfold around you.
We’ll cruise gently through the channel towards the lighthouse, taking in the scenery at an unhurried pace. There’s no rush, no fixed agenda — just the gentle rhythm of the sea, the ocean breeze, and the freedom to sit back and enjoy the moment.
Throughout the journey, complimentary snacks and refreshments will be available on board. Find your favourite spot, watch the changing colours of the sky, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Andaman Sea as the afternoon slowly gives way to evening.
As the sun begins its descent, the horizon transforms into a canvas of warm gold, soft orange, and crimson. This is your moment to witness the magic of an Andaman sunset from the water, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the island.
We’ll gradually make our way back towards the shore, arriving at Beach No. 3 at approximately 5:30 PM, bringing your afternoon to a gentle and memorable close.

* GST: An applicable GST of 18% applies to course fees. Please confirm the final amount at the time of booking.
* Advance Booking: Advance booking and payment are required to confirm your slot.
* Cancellation & Refunds: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the activity are eligible for a 100% refund of the advance. Cancellations made 2–7 days before the activity are eligible for an 80% refund of the advance. No refund is provided for cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows.
* Rescheduling: One-time rescheduling is permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Rescheduled bookings are non-refundable.
* Weather & Safety: Activities are subject to weather and sea conditions. If Ocean Tribe Scuba cancels an activity for safety or operational reasons, you may choose a full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.
* Medical & Safety Requirements: Participants must meet the applicable medical and certification requirements, provide accurate medical information, and follow all instructor and crew instructions.
